Military Families

Information for Military Families

Central Crossing High School values the sacrifice and courage  of our military service members and their families and is committed to supporting military-connected students academically and emotionally.

We acknowledge and celebrate military service in our community through several ways:

Central Crossing has an award-winning  Navy JROTC unit that is highly visible both in the school and in the community at large. Our NJROTC students fundraise and volunteer for Wreaths across America, serve as Color Guard at all home Varsity football games and Varsity Basketball games (men’s and women’s), and spend countless hours volunteering in the community.

Our school counselors are trained in assisting military-connected students maintain their academic progress through moves due to deployments, activations, or post changes. We are fortunate to have a Student Support Liaison who is available to support student mental health needs. Many of our staff members are veterans, spouses of veterans, parents of service members, or were children of service members themselves.  At Central Crossing, your student will find a staff of people ready to support them.

Your primary Point of Contact/Liaison for military students and their families at CCHS is Mrs. Deb Carver, Assistant Principal (debra.carver@swcsd.us).
